Note (2025): Nationals of USA, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands and 28+ other countries now require a visa. Even visa-exempt nationals must hold a Business Visitor Visa if conducting any business activity in Namibia per Section 27, ICA No. 7/1993.
Documents Required — All Visa Categories
Valid passport — minimum 6 months validity beyond intended stay, at least 3 blank pages
Completed & signed Visa Application Form (Form 3-1/0033) — from MHAISS or eservices.mhaiss.gov.na
Two recent passport-size photographs (colour, white background, not older than 3 months)
Certified copy of passport bio-data page
Proof of accommodation (hotel booking, or host invitation letter with Namibian ID copy)
Return or onward travel ticket (confirmed booking)
Proof of sufficient funds: bank statement (last 3 months), minimum N$5,000 per week of stay
Valid travel & medical insurance covering full period of stay in Namibia
Visa fee payment receipt
Additional Documents — Business Visitor Visa
Motivation letter from employer or Namibian host company stating business purpose and activities
Proof of business relationship or meeting invitation from Namibian entity
Company registration of both home company and Namibian host company
Introductory letter on official employer letterhead
Additional Documents — Study / Medical Visa
Acceptance letter from accredited Namibian institution
Proof of tuition fee payment or scholarship letter
Original Medical Certificate (Form 3-1/0003) from registered medical practitioner (not older than 6 months)
Original Radiological / X-ray Report (Form 3-1/0004)
Police Clearance Certificate from country of origin (issued within 6 months)
